A set of cut vinyl number plate stickers

This set consists of cut vinyl digits & a seperate matt black backing piece

Digits are supplied pre-spaced and fitted with application tape for easy fitting to the backing piece after the backing has been fitted to the vehicle

Make sure you supply your regsitration exactly how you want it to be produced, ie: if you ask for ABC 123A that is how your pre-cut strip will be produced

These plates do NOT have a Silver or White surround to the main Black section which is single colour Matt Black vinyl, the edging you see on the picture is simply the backing paper

Plates are available in 2 sizes:
Single Line for front or rear plates (20.5" x 4.4" / 525mm x 110mm)
Double Line for squarer rear plates (11.25" x 8" / 287mm x 205mm)

*Please note, when ordering a double line plate, if you have an odd registration, i.e. PB 48764, you need to think about how this will fit on a Double Line plate as there often isn't room for 4 fat digits. It is usually ok if there is at least a single No1 but a row of 8's for example will not fit on one line of a double line plate.

Letters and Numbers in White or Silver vinyl (mandatory type face) are 3.25 inches tall (82mm)

These sizes comply with the regulations in force during the period these plates were in use.

REMEMBER THESE DIGITS ARE MUCH BOLDER THAN THE REGULAR MADATORY STYLE. IF YOU ARE PUTTING THEM ON A LATER VEHICLE THEY MAY LOOK INCORRECT

Set A: 2 single line plates with 2 sets of cut vinyl digits of your choice, each up to 7 digits long (16 pieces)

Set B: 1 single line & 1 double line plate with 2 sets of cut vinyl digits of your choice, each up to 7 digits long (16 pieces)

Set C: 2 double line plates with 2 sets of cut vinyl digits of your choice, each up to 7 digits long (16 pieces)

Set D: 1 single line plate with 1 set of cut vinyl digits of your choice, up to 7 digits long (8 pieces)

Set E: 1 double line plate with 1 set of cut vinyl digits of your choice, up to 7 digits long (8 pieces)

Set F: 1 set of cut digits, up to 7 digits long, formatted for fitting on to a single line background, but with no background piece (7 pieces).

Set G: 1 set of cut digits, up to 7 digits long, formatted for fitting on to a double line background, but with no background piece (7 pieces).

‘Stick on’ number plates have been with us in the UK since the fifties when they largely replaced the earlier style of sign-written plates. Most famously used on E type Jaguars and Mini Coopers in the sixties they have cropped up on loads of Road, Race and Rally cars from the period. They finished when the reflective style of number plates became compulsory in the UK on 1^st January 1973

These number plates are show plates and cannot be used legally on the UK roads especially if your vehicle requires reflective plates (after 1/1/73) they are designed for older vehicles and race rally replicas, show cars etc.

All stickers are cut from premium outdoor grade vinyl, this automotive specification vinyl is medium tack and will not damage paintwork providing it is sound, well keyed and applied to an acceptable standard
